Welcome to St. Mark’s Cathedral

Established in 1808, St. Mark’s Cathedral stands as one of the most historic and spiritually significant churches in Bengaluru. For over two centuries, it has served as a beacon of faith, worship, and community life in the heart of the city.

Located on Mahatma Gandhi Road, the Cathedral is the seat of the Diocese of Karnataka under the Church of South India (CSI). Generations of believers have gathered here to worship, celebrate sacraments, and grow together in Christ.

Our Mission

Our mission is to glorify God by nurturing spiritual growth through worship, teaching the Word of God, serving the community with compassion, preserving our sacred heritage, and guiding people to live Christ-centered livesβ€”carrying forward over two centuries of faith through one living mission.

Our Vision

Guided by faith for over two centuries, we envision a vibrant, Christ-centered cathedral that honours its rich heritage while inspiring future generations through worship, service, and the transformation of communities.
