Holy Baptism
Through water and the Word, believers are received into the fellowship of Christβs Church and become members of the family of God.
Holy Baptism at St. Markβs Cathedral
Holy Baptism is the sacrament through which a person is united with Christ in His death and resurrection and welcomed into the Church. According to the liturgy of the Church of South India, Baptism is administered in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Through the pouring of water and the prayers of the Church, we celebrate Godβs grace, the forgiveness of sins, and the gift of new life in Christ Jesus.
