Vision<\/h4>\n

The vision of the St. Marks Cathedral Senior Citizens and Home is to enhance the elderly care programs, launch initiatives, and manage its supporting systems.<\/p>\n

Mission<\/h4>\n

The mission is to facilitate Christ-centric, caring and friendly environment for the senior citizens of St. Mark\u2019s community.
\nThe needs of the Senior Citizens are broadly classified into two categories, namely
\n\u2022 Care and Extended Support
\n\u2022 Establishing sophisticated homes for Senior Citizens
\nTheir needs will be executed by segregating it further as short, midterm and long terms goals.<\/p>\n

Initiatives:<\/h4>\n

1) The Wisdom of Elders<\/h5>\n

\u2022 Create a platform and opportunities for those who seeks elder\u2019s guidance and mentorship.
\n\u2022 They can share their experience and knowledge to the young generations of St. Marks community and bound in the areas of Education, Legal, Technology, Entrepreneurship, General Management, Music, Media, Art and Craft and so.<\/p>\n

2) Engagement with Nightingale Medical Trust\/Similar in Nature<\/h5>\n

\u2022 Partnership\/collaborate with the Organizations which provides the extended services to the elderly people.<\/p>\n

Short Term, Midterm and Long-Term Goals:<\/h4>\n

1) Care & Extended Support<\/h5>\n

We, as Christians have a responsibility to show kindness, respect and the welfare of elderly people. Some of the programs are mentioned as below:
\n\u2022 Home visits to be extended especially during Sick time, special occasions like Birthday\u2019s and their Marriage Anniversaries and so
\n\u2022 Extended Support in times of bereavement, loss of dear and near ones, providing counselling, food, medicine, shelter, transport facilities to attend Church services
\n\u2022 Facilitate get together and retreats
\n\u2022 Conduct medical camps and regular checkup facilities
\n\u2022 Safety and security enablement through technology
\n\u2022 Financial support with limited scope
\n\u2022 Senior Citizens Lounge and Special Care during Church programs
\n\u2022 Wheel Chairs \/ Ramps
\n\u2022 Library<\/p>\n

2) Establishing sophisticated homes for Senior Citizens<\/h5>\n

The objective is to provide peaceful, healthy living atmosphere for Senior Citizens with advanced facilities. The facilities shall include but not limited

\n\u2022 Recreation Center
\n\u2022 Medical \/ Hospital facilities
\n\u2022 Common Hall
\n\u2022 Digital Libraries<\/p>\n
